Albert Monroe earned a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University in 1997 with an emphasis on Training and Development. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Education from Southern Illinois University in 1983.  

With over 25 years in the Training and Development field, Al has a very diverse background both in management and academia.  Al retired from the United States Air Force after serving 21 years.  He held several leadership and supervisory positions during his decorative military career. 

 
Following his military career, Al worked in several important Lockheed positions as both an Instructor and training engineer, training both USAF Officers and NASA Space Shuttle Astronauts.
 
Al is a veteran trainer.  He received his Master's Training Certificate from the Air Force and taught numerous classes and programs.  Al earned his flight status in 1971, flew numerous aircraft missions comprising over 5,000 flight hours and served in several military campaigns, both in Vietnam and in the Middle East.  He was awarded both an Air Medal and Meritorious Service award for his outstanding duty. He was instrumental in relief efforts and in the Air evacuations of both Vietnam and Iran.

Al was instrumental in developing numerous classes and programs and teaching human resources related classes.  Al developed a Time and Stress Management class, helped to develop a Team Building classes and was assigned to teach a five week Middle Management Leadership program.  Along with his training team, Al developed a 26 week Upward Mobility class and was part of the training team on a highly publicized Customer Service Training program for the Casino industry.

Mr. Monroe is certified as a Master Instructor.  He has developed, implemented and authored over ten training courses.  He has written several articles on various topics.  Al is a stand-up lecturer and facilitator.  He has a State of Nevada Teaching License, State of California Community College Instructor Credential and he is certified to Teach Nevada State Problem Gambling class "When the Fun Stops".

Al is a member of the Management Association, NAIC, and the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). Mr. Monroe works as an Adjunct Professor at Devry University. He teaches in the areas of Nevada Constitution and History. He also develops curriculums for the University.
