How do I know that the company can get results?

No company can guarantee results on all cases. However, the greatest predictor of future performance is past performance. Not only have we enjoyed enormous success solving complex criminal cases, we have enjoyed enormous success in solving domestic and civil cases. Please see the articles section on the home page and read the "Recent Testimonials" section to see how we have helped others. We can provide additional references if necessary upon request; however, we use our additional references sparingly. We respect the privacy of our past clients.

Why should I hire your company over other companies?

We are extremely skilled at what we do. The owner is a published author in the area of  surveillance and clandestine operations. Many investigative skills, especially surveillance, requires extensive practice to master. Our skills have been developed and refined over several years. We demonstrated our expertise in the most challenging assignments while working at several state, federal and local law enforcement agencies. We have attended numerous classes for advanced surveillance techniques.

Many of our competitors claim to be surveillance or infidelity experts. However, in reality they are feeling their way through their cases at the expense of their customers. Many do not have the hands on experience necessary to conduct successful investigations. To boost their image and compensate for their lack of investigative expertise, many claim that police and military investigative experience is non-transferable to private investigations. However, in reality there are few jobs that can test investigators' surveillance skills more than law enforcement and military surveillance assignments.

The company is committed to quality customer service. We pride ourselves in treating our customers like family. We understand the emotional strain that many of our customer experience. We work hard to make the customer experience positive, and most importantly, stress free.

Our customers are very important to us. The agency is extremely sensitive to the needs of our clients.

We are a small company with a big heart. When you hire Global, you mobilize the investigative talent that has been accumulated over several decades. We do not farm out work to interns, unskilled or untrained employees.

We hold our cases in the strictest confidence. We do not discuss our cases with anyone outside the investigation.

Is bigger better?

Many companies claim that their mere size makes them the best.  It is not size of staff or the size of the office that matters. What matters most is the level of investigative skills and the level of committment of the investigators. Bigger offices can translate into bigger fees for you the consumer. In reality, most successful investigators spend the majority of their time in the field.

What can I expect from Global?

Plain and simple you can expect the truth. We are up front with you about our capabilities. We won't claim to be something that we are not. We know that we are the best at what we do. We are the best because we care about people.  Domestic investigations are very personal; therefore, we handle our investigations with a level of care and committment that is rarely found in our industry.

We are dedicated to finding the truth for you. Remember our goal is to "Facilitate Peace of Mind Across the Globe."

Why should I hire a private investigator? What can a private investigator do for me?

There are a variety of services that a private detective agency can provide for you. Two of the most important things that we can do for you is to ensure your personal safety and the safety of your family and employees. A private investigator can also determine if a trusted friend or associate is being truthful about past or present activities.

What is a retainer fee?

A retainer fee is a deposit given to private detective agency to reserve a date to begin working on your case.

How much is your retainer fee?

The retainer fee is $1000-$1,500 for private citizens. The corporate rate varies based on the complexity of the case.

Should I hire a company that offers me the lowest hourly rates and lowest retainer fee?

That is a personal choice. However, rest assured that most companies are aware of standard billing fees in the industry. Therefore, some companies have a tendency to lure customers in and then make up the price difference at your expense. In order to recover their expenses, they will drag out your case until they can recoup their labor costs. According to customers that we have interviewed, this tactic adds enormous amount of stress to an already stressful situation.

In some cases, newly formed companies are likely to offer low rates to initially attract customers. These companies might hire interns to work on your case. This may lower their operating expenses.

GIMS cares about its customers. We want to develop a relationship that lasts a life time. We make a diligent effort to minimize the costs to our customers. If we can find a more cost effective method to meet the objectives of our investigation, we are going to offer that solution to our customers.

We provide a cost effective approach to investigating your case. If we can reach the objectives of our investigations in a few days, we consider that good for business. After all, research reveals that the best way to obtain new business is by way of word of mouth referrals.

What is a stationary surveillance?

Stationary surveillance involves observing an individual or group at one location such as their residence, their job or at their hangout. One or two investigators may be required based on the particulars of each case.

What is a moving surveillance?

A moving or mobile surveillance involves the use of at least two investigators and/or the use of Global Position Tracking Devices (known as GPS). These type of surveillances can be extremely dangerous.

What are some expenses that I may be required to pay?

Some additional expenses that a client may be required to pay may include, but are not limited to, mileage fees, admission to nightclubs, tipping to gain advance entry into nightclubs or hotels, parking, DVDs, tolls, film developing, etc.

Why is establishing the credibility of friends, employees and business partners important?

It is important for us to know the credibility of people in positions of trust in our personal and professional lives. If you are considering hiring a new employee, or bringing in a new business partner, do not be caught off guard. It is important to take affirmative steps to secure your mental and physical health, as well as your assets.

If you are an employer, improperly screened employees can hurt you and your bottom line. They can expose your company to civil liability. Every year there are scores of unethical employees that come back to their former employer and rob, injure, and sometime murder employees and managers after being terminated. Do not let this happen to you. GIMS is committed to providing you with services that will ensure your peace of mind.
